As SVP General Manager, Carsten leads Method’s business globally. He is passionate about the business of design and the design of business, and focused on aligning Method’s creative talent with client needs. Carsten has over 15 years of experience in design, technology, and general management, and has worked extensively with clients in a variety of industries including automotive, financial services, media, and telecommunications.
Prior to Method, Carsten worked as the GM North America for frog, where he oversaw a broad range of work in innovation strategy, digital and physical design, design research, experience design, and social impact for clients such as GE and Disney. Before frog, he worked in executive roles at R/GA and Thinkmap, a data visualization pioneer, and at Accenture.
Originally from Germany, Carsten has lived in New York for the last fifteen years. He studied Political Science in Hamburg and at Indiana University, and enjoys travel, swimming, and Middle Eastern spices.
