As Director of Product Development, Josh helps clients bridge the gap between innovative strategy approaches and the tactical creation of new product and services. Originally trained as a software engineer, Josh went back to school, earning a degree in industrial design and now combines the design and engineering approaches with business strategy to deliver new products to the marketplace.
Prior to Method, Josh was a key executive in a couple of Bay Area startups: Wrap, which was pioneering a new approach to mobile applications, and SKULLY that created the world's first heads up display motorcycle helmet. Before those two adventures, he was a Creative Director at Samsung helping to develop new mobile and operating system concepts. For five years prior, he was leading multidisciplinary teams at the global design and strategy firm frog, where his expertise shaped service design projects that incorporated touchpoints across hardware and software.
Josh and his wife live in San Francisco with their two great kids and one OK dog. When not working, he likes to spend time making things, riding motorcycles, and pontificating.
