David has over 20 years of experience solving business problems with design solutions. As one of the founders of Method, he has led the development and growth of the New York office, where he currently leads strategy and business development efforts.
David founded Method with the desire to be part of a design firm that focused on positive business outcomes, smart cross-platform solutions, and an always improving culture. His clients value his experience, insight, and candor. Some of them include Comcast, IBM, MoMA, PBS, Rogers Communications, The TED Conferences, Time Warner Cable, Steelcase, and Viggle.
Prior to Method, David was Director of Technology at MetaDesign. Within the role of Director of Technology, David was key in establishing and building MetaDesign’s transformation from a print-oriented studio to one that created brand-oriented multimedia, Internet-based, and application-based products.
David is also an active participant in the design, various industry, and professional communities. Recent speaking engagements include Digital Hollywood, the Interaction Design Association (IXDA), Usability Professional’s Association (UPA), and Harvard Business School.
David has a B.A from Reed College, where he majored in history with a sub-focus in anthropology. David finds work a relaxing break from the freneticism of his two little girls and ongoing renovation of his 1870s Brooklyn Brownstone.
